Periodic reassessment of customer risk levels.
Preventive Measures:
Simplified, standard, and enhanced due diligence (CDD/EDD).
Analyzing legal entity structures and identifying/verifying Beneficial Owners (BO).
Screening and Sanctions:
Customer screening in international search databases.
Identification of Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), their family members, and close associates.
International financial sanctions and identification of sanctioned individuals/entities.
Reporting and Monitoring:
Suspicious transaction scenarios and detection mechanisms.
The process of submitting suspicious transaction/currency transaction reports (STR/CTR) to the Financial Monitoring Service of Georgia.
